TLC-X Tugger application with Collet – demo (Download)

Transcript:

Hi, I’m Ron Low from TLC Tugger with a tip for you, on foreskin restoration. Today I’m going to talk about our TLC-X with the new, two-piece, stainless steel collet, which replaces the collar and set screw. The collet goes in the void of the Tugger’s handle, right here, and it’s two stainless steel pieces which twist together, instead of having a screw sticking out the side to tighten it in place. So let me show you what that looks like.

So let’s go through the whole sequence of applying the TLC-X with the new collet. I’m going to remove the Retaining Cone from the TLC-X, and just to show you how it goes together. I’m going to disassemble the device.

So you assemble the Pusher into the Tugger body, and before you get it all the way up through the handle, you have to stick the collet in there. I like to position the collet with the skinnier part up toward the tip of the handle, because I think it grips better the way it’s designed. I designed it to grip better in that orientation. At first it didn’t fit in here, so it twisted the two pieces together a little bit to make the device smaller.

Now, if you’re going to be tugging with a strap in bed, up over the shoulder, you want to put the strap on HERE so the rod has to come on the near side of the handle. You have a choice. You have to choose far side or near side. So if I’m going to be tugging with a strap I have to concentrate on that, otherwise it doesn’t matter. So I’m going to collapse the device fully and then remove the Your Skin Cone to put the device on my skin. Pull the skin up on all sides. And notice that my objective is to get the skin bunched up, just about to the metal handle. The flared, wide part, of the metal handle. And I add the Retaining Cone, which will push the skin back down onto the Tugger body a little bit, so you can see some of the white poking out. Then I get rid of any gnarly wrinkles that are visible through the clear Retaining Cone by flaring the Retaining Cone just a little bit.

So that’s a good application, I can tug with that. So now I want to extend the Pusher towards my glans to create tension on my inner facing skin. So I go ahead and push on the rod, which you see is presently about three quarters of an inch long past the handle, and move it until its about a quarter inch past the handle. Now I’m going to hold the tip of the rod with the middle of my finger and that same finger is going to grab the top of the collet, along with my thumb, and then with my other hand I’m going to twist the base of the collet so the two pieces twist together. And now I’ve trapped some tension so now the Pusher has moved about a half inch towards my glans. So I have a very gentle tension, I can wear it all day. It’ll stay comfortable, and the collet was just that easy to apply.

Now if I want to change the extension of the Pusher after I’ve had a look at things, or after I’ve felt the comfort level, I just loosen it and push it further. This time I’m going to hold it with a little more force while I tighten it. There I’ve gone about an eighth of an inch or so. You can see the outline of my glans here and the Pusher is right there. And here’s the end of the Tugger body so there’s a bigger gap there now. So that’s basically how it works.

Thanks for watching. I hope that was helpful. Check out our other videos and check us out at TLCTugger.com for devices, for our Email address and phone number, and to check out our free online user group of course. Thanks! Good luck with your restoration.
