Handle for carrying 64″ x 40″ (1.6m x 1m) banners easily with one hand.
Just add your grommeted banner and some drilled 3/4″ oak dowels and bungie cords for an easy to pack, easy to setup, highly impactful GREAT BIG banner. See our step-by-step how-to video.
Other workable sizes include:
72″ x 44″ (with 44″ dowels)
66″ x 40″ (with 40″ dowels)
60″ x 36″ (with 36″ dowels)
48″ x 30″ (with 31″ dowels)
36″ x 24″ (with 26″ dowels)
116″ x 66″ (with 8 42″ dowels, an XBN, and 4 TLC Joiner banner pole linkages)
See in the pictures how the XBN banner handle by TLC Tugger lets you assemble a 3-sided or 4-sided standing “fortress” of banners. It can also be mounted on a chain-link fence or other sturdy stationary object. The handle is sturdy molded plastic. Note that some jurisdictions don’t allow sticks as part of protest signs. I’ve been all over the country including the U.S. capitol and the white house and I’ve never been stopped from carrying my x-frame banner.
You could make yourself a block like this from 2×4 lumber, but these are cast in polyurethane and are 4 times as strong. Handle blocks made of wood have sometimes split in high winds.
